Jan Campbell

Jan is originally from Wales, moved to New Zealand in 1999, where she met and married her husband, they now live with two of their three teenage children in North Canterbury. Jan has always been an artist, she is a qualified early child teacher, an experienced teacher aide, as well as a currently registered and practicing Creative Arts Therapist. 

Jan currently volunteers at the Christchurch Women’s Centre, she works for Risingholme – Community Education Centre as a Creativity for Wellbeing tutor and assists with Dance Therapy NZ sessions in Christchurch. As a Creative Arts Therapist, having studied through Whitecliffe (in Christchurch and Auckland) Jan holds a Master of Arts in Creative Arts therapy (Clinical) and is passionate about the power of the arts and how it is connected to our wellbeing. Jan has always been an artist, a dancer, and a doodler. It is Jan’s belief that we can heal through self-discovery, in community and connected to life through presence. Jan has a people centred approach to well-being, believing our wisdom lies within and that through creative expression we can tap into our own power to relax into healing
