As a therapist, I base my practice around the humanistic approach of person-centred therapy. My philosophy is that the client is the expert in their world. As their therapist, I support them in their journey to better themselves and give them tools that they can use.
I specialize in supporting young people aged 5-18 years with mental health, learning difficulties, and developmental delays. I currently work in several schools and private practice.
I was raised in Christchurch and enjoyed growing up in the country. I discovered creative arts therapy in my undergraduate degree in Design in Applied Visual Arts in the final year. Creative arts therapy combines my two passions for the creative arts and helping people.
I am enjoying learning to play the guitar, playing sports, including hockey and cricket. I love to spend time drawing or painting and getting creative myself. I gravitate towards nature and enjoy walking in the Port Hills.
I am registered with Australia, New Zealand and Asia Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA)
