Hi my name is Heather Mitchell and I have recently completed my Masters in Creative Arts Therapy (Clinical) with First Class Honours. I have a background in art / craft/ making and have a deep respect and passion for creativity and enjoy making as part of my own self thrive practice.
I am currently volunteering at the Women’s Centre in Christchurch where I work alongside a wide range of challenges including relationship issues, family of origin dynamics, grief, anxiety and depression, major life transitions and suffering / trauma.
I also work in my private practice as a Creative Art Therapist and am contactable at: heather.mitchell243@gmail.com
At this stage I am available on Friday afternoons and Tuesday mornings.
The sessions I offer are client led and process based. They involve creativity to explore, invoke, nudge and play with our human experiences. I work with my clients towards integration, acceptance, and expansion.
If you have any questions please get in touch. I would love to hear from you.
Warmly
Heather Mitchell
